Working Title Assistant Professor History (2 Positions)
Job Summary

Two tenure track positions as Assistant Professor, one in European History and one in American History; starting from
August 1, 2016 to teach undergraduate both undergraduate survey courses and upper level courses. Normal course load is 12 credit hours per semester. Additional duties include advising students and active participation in department committees and university activities. Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description. Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience; competitive benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. but ABD may be considered based on experience and documented progress toward completion of the degree by the hire date. Evidence of successful college teaching experience and the ability and willingness to work closely with students from diverse backgrounds; background and/or credit check may be required.
