Working Title Lecturer in Accounting
Job Summary

The College of Business Administration (COBA) at Savannah State University invites applications for a non-tenure-track position as a Lecturer in Accounting beginning August 2017. This position provides lectures in accounting and supports the College in projects, programs and activities. Holds appropriate office hours for assisting students; provides leadership and guidance to students and engages in professional and community services. The College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB international. COBA offers BBA and MBA degree programs. May be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Master’s degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution and appropriate professional certification. A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required; prior teaching experience preferred. Background and/or credit check may be required.
