Job Summary

The Marine Sciences Program at Savannah State University System of Georgia, located in Savannah, Georgia seeks a post-doctoral fellow to establish a research program in the marine or fisheries sciences, teach and assist with curricular development in the marine sciences degree programs and contribute to the mission and goals of the NOAA Living Marine Resources Cooperative Science Center. May be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description. Salary competitive and commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Must hold, or be nearing completion of an earned Ph.D. in marine sciences, fisheries, or related field. Applicants with expertise in fisheries socioeconomics, population dynamics, marine policy, or molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Background and/or credit check may be required.
